Based on designs by Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer. This model comes from the designs by Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer respectively for Standard Mobel and Thonet. The continuous tube which shapes both the base and the armrests also keeps the vertical tubes of the back spaced apart and rigid, allowing the elimination of the separation bar present in the original models.
